My gift lies in defining possibilities of a space, often revealing solutions my clients never imagined possible. Whether it's reimagining a kitchen that becomes the heart of your entertaining or creating a bathroom that feels like your personal spa retreat, I bring intuition for reading both spaces and the people who inhabit them.
After 20+ years in residential design and construction, I’ve worked on everything from basement finishing projects to full custom builds. What hasn’t changed is what I care about most: listening carefully, designing thoughtfully, and making the process as easy as possible for the people I work with.
My clients want a home that works — for how they actually live, cook, entertain, and unwind. I’m drawn to people who value quality and craft, who know what they love but might not know how to put it all together, and who want a designer who’s direct, honest, and genuinely invested in the outcome.
I hold a Certified Interior Designer (CID) designation from Minnesota, a Universal Design Certified Professional (UDCP) credential through NARI, and have a background in Construction Management.
My work has been recognized by ASID, NARI, NKBA, and Midwest Home. But the recognition I care about most comes from clients who tell me their home finally has function and feels like them.

Note that each project scope is unique - this process adapts to fit yours.
For items that we are procuring on your behalf, we will track and manage product fabrication and schedules. When the time is right, I coordinate deliveries, wallpaper installation, window treatment installation, and add the final touches that reflect your personality and how your family lives
I partner with your contractor to have a kick-off meeting and ensure your vision is executed throughout the construction process. With a background in construction, every detail is just as important to me, as it is to your contractor. I often attend site visits during construction milestones to aid in decision making and oversight of your design details.
With a clear direction in place, I develop cabinetry elevations, material and fixture selections and sometimes review these selections in a 3D environment. If furnishings are a part of your project, I specify furniture, rugs, art, accessories, and window treatments to continue to complete the story.
We redesign your space to meet your needs, goals and how you live your life in your home. This often includes creating drawings of your current space, proposed solutions and layouts, furniture layouts and notes for adjustments to walls, flooring transitions, mechanicals or electrical that could be made. We then review with you and come up with our final proposed strategy and design.
Every project begins with a discovery call — no commitment, no pressure. I want to understand your project story, your goals and your timeline. If we’re a good fit, we’ll schedule a home visit to dig into the details. Once you’ve signed your Design Agreement, we’re officially underway.
